AmSpirit Rx (The Power of Reconnecting)

Although meeting new people is an important part of developing our network, we can also develop our network by cultivating relationships with people we already know. If you are between the ages of 9 and 90, you already know more people than you will meet over the next year. Therefore, to maximize our networking effort, we should focus on reconnecting with those we already know rather devoting 100% or our attention to meeting new people. The advantage of reconnecting with people we already know (as compared to meeting new people) is that these people presumably already “like and trust” us.
